Mission Statement
The mission of the York County Development Corporation is to promote and encourage quality economic growth in York County.

History
Founded in 1997, the York County Development Corporation – abbreviated sometimes to YCDC – is a public – private not-for-profit organization.  We work confidentially, offering unbiased information on properties with no fee requirements for clients.  We diligently attempt to provide timely and accurate data for projects in development.

The Development Corporation provides detailed, customized information and answers to your questions so you are fully informed and can make sound choices regarding the future of your company.

Who We Are…
The York County Development Corporation is the lead economic development organization in York County, representing nine municipalities and the surrounding area. The Development Corporation offers a full range of consultative services including:

• current data on available sites and buildings for sale or lease;
• area information and statistics;
• manpower availability;
• wage rates and productivity levels;
• start-up assistance;
• energy rates and availability;
• training programs;
• expansion and re-location assistance;
• guidance on use and application of development incentives including major tax credits, refunds and exemptions for new and expanding businesses.

The York County Development Corporation utilizes a team approach to ensure access to all agencies and programs that can be of assistance to your project.

• Provides up-to-date information and publications on available industrial and commercial sites and buildings
• Supports existing businesses via educational and networking councils including:  industry forums; safety and workforce councils, and entrepreneur training
• Provides current demographic information to existing business and industry and industrial prospects
• Collaborates regionally to promote York County
