Nebraska Workforce Development offers businesses a range of services including Labor Market Information, recruiting skilled applicants for open positions, posting job openings, etc.  For the job seeker, Nebraska Workforce Development offers assistance in finding employment and provides information that will help in designing an intelligent career path. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 510 Lincoln Avenue.  Ruth Peters, Employment Coordinator of the York Career Center of Nebraska Workforce Development Office, will be available to assist with initial recruitment, assessment, and hiring needs and will continue to provide business services to the company as needs arise.

Advance Services, Inc. (ASI) is a full service staffing company offering fulltime benefits, safety incentives, weekly pay, health insurance, 401k plans, and vacation pay.  There are no fees for applicants.  The private placement agency can provide temporary employees for short or long term assignments as well as recruitment, testing, and placement services.  Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with offices throughout the Midwest.

Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation is an employment program for people with disabilities.  Vocational Rehabilitation works with people to develop their career plans, learn job skills, and secure employment.  The goal is to prepare people for jobs where they can make a living wage and have access to medical insurance.
