York County Development Corporation (YCDC) has recently launched a new online business directory for the promotion of businesses located throughout York County, Nebraska. This search tool is designed to be user-friendly, fast, and robust, making it easy to locate businesses who have chosen to locate and grow in the area.

The YCDC business directory is fully interactive, allowing visitors to search for businesses based on category or keyword. Visitors can conduct a search using a dropdown menu, keyword search tool, or clicking on an image to find businesses located in York. The available business categories are agri-business, construction, professional, repair-service-storage, manufacturing, retail-wholesale, organization-gov agency, communications-newspaper-radio, educational, utilities, health care-social assistance, finance-insurance, food-hospitality-recreation, municipalities, private investors, real estate, transportation-logistics-warehousing, and misc.

Once the search has been narrowed down by business category, a list of local companies will appear, complete with their logo, name, address, and phone number. Visitors can then click for more information, taking them to a company page with additional contact information, background on the company, images, a link to the company website, and the company’s NAICS and SIC codes.

Visitors can also see where each company is located using an interactive map that appears under their profile. This feature is beneficial for site selectors and business executives seeking to identify a new location for their business.
