Bus Line

Black Hills Stage Lines serves York with two buses daily.  Black Hills Stage Lines provides eastbound bus service to Omaha and westbound service to Denver.  Eastbound travelers leave at 5:40 p.m. and westbound travelers leave at 11:05 daily.  Further information is available by calling 402.474.1071.

Eppley Express transports individuals to the Eppley Airfied in Omaha and west to Kearney.  The Eppley Express stops once daily for eastbound travel to Lincoln and Omaha, as well as once daily at a later time for westbound travel to Grand Island and Kearney, with two stops each way on Tuesdays.   Service is available daily (except on select holidays), with pick-up times varying by the day of the week.   The cost of transportation ranges from $25 - $45 one-way, depending on the destination.  See www.eppleyexpress.com for specific schedule and rate information.  Travelers may access the service in York.  For more information, call 800.888.9793.

The Handi Bus and Busy Wheels provide public transportation.  The Busy Wheels runs within the city limits on a daily basis.  The Handi Bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift and provides service within the city as well as transportation to and from York to surrounding communities including Henderson, Gresham, and McCool Junction.  Monthly trips are also scheduled to Grand Island and Lincoln.  Both transportation services are provided through York County, the city of York, and York County Aging Services.  For service, call 402.362.7626.
