Responsibilities
This position is responsible for coordinating patient admissions and communicating all pertinent information regarding new and returning patients from the hospital and clinic physicians. The Intake and Referral Specialist will also act as the resource person for patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and referral sources. This position will be responsible for the day to day direction of patient flow through the Home Health office to the field clinicians. Will assist with extensive chart review and audits and staying in compliance with the Medicare Conditions of Participation.Qualifications
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. A minimum of 2 years office or related experience in the healthcare environment. Previous Home Health care related billing experience preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.York General
