Gov. Ricketts Celebrates Big Jump in National Business-Friendly Ranking for Nebraska

LINCOLN – Today, Governor Pete Ricketts issued a statement following news that Nebraska rose from #14 to #8 in CNBC’s “Top States for Business in 2019.”

“Nebraska’s six-spot jump in CNBC’s rankings speaks to the great successes we have experienced in recruiting new opportunities to Nebraska,” said Governor Ricketts.  “Our pro-growth climate has helped Nebraska attract more new investments per capita than any state in the nation for three years in a row.  Consequently, we are hitting employment records every year, and helping keep Nebraska the best place in the world to live, work, and raise a family.”
