For more than 12 years, Angela Berthold has been matching buyers and sellers in the real estate market in York and the surrounding area – while still giving back to her community.

Throughout her childhood, she watched and learned from her father and mother who sold and still sell real estate.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Following earning her degree, she opened and managed a major retail store in South Dakota. She journeyed to Arizona to manage another major retail store. Upon her return to her hometown of York, she obtained her Nebraska real estate salesperson’s license, followed by her broker’s license.

She currently works alongside her mother as they are co-brokers of Heritage Realtors in York. She not only assists her mother with co-agents, but creates real estate ads for Heritage Realtors.

She has earned her Graduate Realtor Institute designation, the Certified Residential Specialist designation, the Mark of Excellence and the York News-Times Readers’ Choice Award for best realtor.

She has been recognized as a Midwest Five Star Professional real estate agent.

On the real estate side of volunteerism, she held the secretary position for nine years for the Blue River Area Board of Realtors.

Berthold is also a certified Jazzercise instructor.

She is a former member of the York Chamber Board of Directors and consistently, proudly wears her red coat as a York Chamber Ambassador. She also actively serves the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York as a greeter, a Sunday School teacher and an active member of the Christian Board of Nurture. She was also a 2010 graduate of the Leadership York program.
