Colleges offer a wonderful creative environment that empowers students, inspires learning, and encourages new ideas. Often colleges help to cultivate entrepreneurial ideas, which is great for economic development.

That’s why YCDC helped convince Southeast Community College to choose York for one of their Regional Learning Centers. “SCC’s presence in York will have a lasting impact on our community,” said YCDC director Lisa Hurley. “Their ability to respond to business and industry workforce training needs will strengthen our competitive advantages.”

The Center will feature training in: business, logistics, culinary arts and more. Learn more about the Center.
