The result of that one call revealed itself at the end of the day Tuesday when several new features remained and a slew of weeds did not.
Janda said the 16 people who spent all day working came from the firm’s Grand Island, Kearney and Broken Bow offices. Each region, she explained, selects community service projects. Wessels was chosen for employees on the eastern end of the region.
The crew, bearing down on projects all around her as she spoke, said Janda, represent one-third of staff in the region.
