WalletHub: Nebraska has nation's 9th least expensive energy

(WalletHub) -- WalletHub.com has compared the total monthly energy bills in each of the 50 states and DC -- examining costs for electricity, natural gas, motor fuel and home heating oil. Overall, Nebraska was ranked the ninth least expensive energy state. According to WalletHub's research, Nebraska's total energy cost per month was $285. Nebraska's monthly electricity cost was $119, while its monthly natural gas cost was $30 and monthly motor fuel cost was $137. The Cornhusker State had the nation's second lowest cost for home heating oil.
