Fabrication Tech
• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred) • Fabrication or welding experience (preferred) • Excellent hand-eye coordination • Ability to read a tape measure • Ability to lift to 50 - 75 lbs. • Ability to stand for extended periods • Maintain clean and organized work area • Daily equipment sign off’s • Forklift license (training provided)
Responsibilities
A Fabrication Technician uses specialized equipment, such as metal welding, cutting, machining, drilling, punching, forming, and grinding tools, to build components for a variety of Cyclonaire products. As a Fabrication Technician, your duties are also to perform simple repair and provide daily preventative maintenance on equipment, perform routine inspections of the tools and equipment, and train people on how to care for the machines. A Fabrication Technician must be able to read technical drawings and follow instructions. Attention to detail and organizational skills are beneficial to have for this job.
