Host/Cashier
Responsibilities
Greet guests as they enter the restaurant in a friendly and welcoming manner. Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seating. Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions they may have. Maintain knowledge of the menu and restaurant items, with the ability to make suggestions. Engage with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service. Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls. Operate cash register to process payments for food and beverages when needed. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and active listening skills. Great customer service skills. Ability to perform high quality work while unsupervised. Ability to perform basic math functions.
