Responsibilities
This position is divided into three main roles. The Performance Improvement Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic performance improvement, knowledge and application of PI processes and tools to improve the health outcomes of patients and residents, increase quality of care services and improve organizational performance. The Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, presenting and evaluating clinical training and education programs, including nursing education. The Safety-Risk Management Coordinator manages and oversees all facility safety management programs in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or other relatable field preferred, but not required. May have a current RN licensure in place of Bachelor’s degree. Two years of experience in performance improvement or risk management, healthcare education, or other relatable healthcare management field desirable.
