Senior VP of Marketing
Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Sr. Vice President of marketing is in charge of developing and implementing a proper marketing and communication strategy within the company. The purpose of this strategy is to determine and support permanent business growth and to ensure brand equity and awareness within the cooperative. The Senior VP of marketing handles all marketing activities in order to fulfill the company's aims of sales, growth and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, organize and manage all the marketing activities for the organization.
Builds and implements the Central Valley Ag brand strategies.
Develops and oversees advertising and marketing strategies.
Develop and implement new communication ideas, proposals and strategies.
Develop and implement the company PR strategy.
Partners with commodities to understand and help achieve their goals.
Works with and plans with teams within marketing and commodities area.
Researches new ways to reach Central Valley Ag customers.
Responsible for business plan development for the Marketing Division.
Develop and maintain customer relationship information and analysis.
Create and administer marketing budget.
Aid in the development and implementation of crisis management strategy.
Work with Business Intelligence group to develop cross selling opportunities’.
Evaluates and oversees market analytics.
Partners with Sales to focus on customer growth and opportunities.
Formulate and implement the marketing policies and objectives
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees up to 6 Subordinates
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Communications or Marketing required.
Five to eight years’ leadership experience required.
- Prefer experience with and knowledge of the challenges facing agriculture across Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska

Valid driver’s license
