Maintenance Technician General Summary Klute Inc. Steel Fabrication has engaged in the fabrication of substation and multi-sided tapered tubular steel pole structures for the past two decades. Klute, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. Maintenance Technician Essential Functions Maintain and install machines, tools, and equipment ensuring the continuous production of our operations. Perform preventive maintenance in conjunction with operations. Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings while installing or repairing equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments. Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints. Install or repair automated machinery and equipment. Set up and operate machine tools, such as grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, to make and repair parts. Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Repair or replace defective parts. Lubricate and clean parts. Maintain building, grounds and company vehicles.
