Responsibilities
This position is responsible for all admissions occurring through the Emergency Department. This position is responsible for and obtaining medical records and other tasks as directed by the ED provider. This position collaborates with the RN, Paramedic/LPN-C to provide patient care under supervision of the RN on duty.
Qualifications
This position requires excellent written/oral communication skills with English as the primary language, however bilingual skills a plus. This position must be able to handle multiple tasks under pressure. Experience in operating a PBX/Multi-line phone system helpful as well as typing/computer skills. An understanding of basic medical terminology is helpful but not required.
