Responsibilities
1. Serve as the Supervisor in the Dietary Department in the absence or unavailability of the Dietary Director. 2. Prepare and serve meals in accordance with regulations, standardized recipes and safety rules. 3. Provide food service for special functions as scheduled. 4. Maintain a clean , safe and sanitary work environment. 5. Supervise Dietary Aides, assign tasks and provide assistance as needed. 6. Complete daily reports for meal service. 7. Assist with quality improvement projects in the department. 8. Respond to requests and inquires promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in the English language. Ability to complete mathematical functions. Ability to understand standardize recipes, therapeutic diets and diet consistencies and to utilize equipment, chemicals and other supplies correctly and safely.
