Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient's responses to health problems, identifying nursing care needs, planning and providing nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses to nursing interventions and revising the plan of care accordingly. This position also directs and supervises LPN's and Nursing Assistants who assist with patient care.
Qualifications
Prior experience is desirable but not necessary. This position requires good communication skills, a caring attitude, flexibility, thoroughness and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and supervise others. The incumbent must have graduated from a professional nursing program and be licensed as a RN in the state of Nebraska. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP is required (training provided for ACLS and NRP).
