Responsibilities

The District’s Water Resources Technician perform a variety of water related tasks to support the Water Department Manager, such as water level measurements, chemigation inspections, flowmeter inspections, water quality sample collections, and compliance checks. The Upper Big Blue NRD relies heavily on spatial and tabular databases in its everyday operations. The position will focus efforts on Geographic Information Systems/Global Positioning Systems and related database management, as well as, the other water related tasks listed above. This will include field data collection, field device management and application deployments, and mapping.

Qualifications

Proficiency in the use of ESRI software
