Responsibilities
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
Responsible for staging jobs safely and accurately per customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
Reviewing customer orders to pull parts and stage for welding department
Operate overhead crane and forklift to move material safely
Ability to read blueprints
Attention to detail to ensure correct parts are pulled per the customer specifications.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Ability to read blueprints
The ability to accurately check one's work for quality assurance
Become forklift certified
Experience using a crane
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Standing and/or walking 95%
Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
