Responsibilities
WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR WELDING TECHNICIAN:
As our Welding Technician, you will have a schedule of 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7 AM to 3:30 PM on Fridays. This position has built-in overtime, totaling 45 hours per week, with the additional 5 hours being paid time and a half.
As a Welding Technician, your role revolves around performing heavy deposition GMAW (Mig) welding on steel ranging from 1/4" to 4" thick.
Each shift begins with thorough equipment checks and safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Your main responsibility is to consistently produce high-quality welds that meet our stringent standards, emphasizing attention to detail and precision throughout the process.
Adhering strictly to safety protocols, you conduct regular quality control inspections to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Your daily contributions play a vital role in crafting dependable, superior products, all while refining your skills and advancing professionally within our supportive team environment.
Qualifications
We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:
AAS in welding is preferred but not a deal-breaker!
5+ years of experience in a similar setting is also preferred
