Operation Runtime Technician

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

1. System Monitoring and Maintenance: 

- Monitor the performance and health of mining rigs and associated hardware. 

- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. 

- Ensure all systems are running efficiently and identify potential issues before they escalate. 

2. Troubleshooting and Repairs: 

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that affect mining operations. 

- Conduct simple repairs on mining hardware such as replacing hash boards, power supplies, and other components. 

- Work with the IT team to troubleshoot network and connectivity issues. 

3. Hardware and Software Management: 

- Install, configure, and update mining software and firmware as needed. 

- Optimize mining settings and parameters for maximum performance. 

- Maintain an inventory of spare parts and manage stock levels. 

4. Documentation and Reporting: 

- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. 

- Provide regular reports on mining operations, including uptime, performance metrics, and any issues encountered. 

5. Safety and Compliance: 

- Ensure all mining operations comply with safety standards and regulations. 

- Implement and adhere to best practices for hardware handling and electrical safety.
