Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assessing and evaluating patient’s responses to health problems, identifying nursing care needs, planning and providing nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses to nursing interventions and revising the plan of care accordingly in various acute care nurse settings. This positions will also direct and supervise LPN’s and Nursing Assistants who assist with patient care.
Qualifications
The incumbents must have graduated from professional nursing programs and be licensed as RNs in the State of Nebraska. 2 years of acute care experience is preferred. Certification in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and NRP is required (training provided for ACLS and NRP).
