Forklift Driver/Material Handler/Yard
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Individual will be responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment such as Forklifts. The successful candidate will need to be able to learn and utilize the current inventory system, and sort items according to destination. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Transport heavy material using a forklift both inside and outside of buildings. Communicate with employees while responding to material requests Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Cycle count inventory as requested by supervisor. Must be able to work overtime All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned. Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED Ability to successfully complete forklift training PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.
