Environmental Services Aide (FT)

Responsibilities

York General Hospital has a full-time opening for an Environmental Services Aide. This position has a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm with weekend and holiday rotations. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital, medical office building, and student housing in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition.  Essential job duties include disinfecting, vacuuming, mopping, and removal of trash of an assigned area on a daily basis, as well as responding to emergency cleaning.  Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.  Experience in housekeeping is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
