Responsibilities

SUMMARY As a Fuel Delivery Driver at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible to provide safe, courteous and efficient transportation solutions for the delivery of petroleum products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides accurate and efficient delivery of bulk fuel and all related products. 2. Collects delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes. 3. Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. 4. Performs routine inspections of equipment, property and reports findings to Supervisor. 5. Maintains equipment to be operational and cleanliness in appearance at all times. 6. Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations and/or damage to the vehicles. 7. Obtains receipts or signatures for delivered goods. 8. Obtains and maintains certification in the delivery of fuel. 9. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES No QUALIFICATIONS ª General mechanical ability required. ª Integrity and good judgment skills required. ª Excellent customer service skills required. ª Must have the ability to multi-task. ª Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. ª Ability to read and interpret documents required. ª Must have the ability to develop content for customer/patron and prospect correspondence. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ª High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. ª Hazardous and tanker endorsements preferred. ª CTEP experience or training preferred. ª Knowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.
