Responsibilities
The City of Henderson’s Chamber of Commerce is seeking a full-time (32 hrs/week) Chamber Executive Director. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating/marketing a variety of community/business-promoting events, facilitating monthly Board of Directors and Chamber meetings, developing and working within a budget, maintaining relationships with existing Chamber members, as well as recruiting new members, writing grants for various projects, and serving on both community and county-level committees/organizations. Strong public relations/marketing skills and organizational skills, as well as the desire to develop a rural community are highly desirable for this position. This position will also offer coverage with as needed duties within the City of Henderson's office.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or one to three years of experience are desirable, but not required.
