Responsibilities
Essential Functions of the job include performing internal audits and FDICIA internal control testing. Maintain proper and complete set of work papers covering each audit and testing performed. Assist with follow-up procedures to ensure all audit exceptions are corrected in a timely manner. Prepare schedules and perform confirmation work for bank management, the bank's external auditors and regulatory examiners.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree is required, preferred in business or accounting. Banking and/or audit experience preferred. Knowledge of basic accounting practices. Working knowledge of personal computers (Microsoft Office products). Ability to interact effectively with customers, management and co-workers. Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy is a must.
