Detailing/Drafting Internship

Seeking an intern for 2024. We at Klute Engineering are committed to building our company with people who are passionate about their career. At Klute, we are committed to providing our customers with quality products that meet their specifications. Our internship program is focused on providing the intern with the basic principles of drafting/and or steel detailing. The intern will work variety of substation and transmission line structures. Our goal is to provide the intern with a foundation to build upon to help advance their drafting knowledge. The intern will be working closely with our Detailing Team on the design of customer projects throughout the United States. Responsibilities will include the following: Responsible for developing drawings per project scope and specifications, as well as AISC requirements and Klute Inc.'s detailing standards. Review of shop drawings detailed by other drafters either in house or an outside company. Exporting of 3D model components to DXF to be programmed.
