Seeking an Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2024 Klute is seeking an intern for the Summer of 2024. We at Klute Engineering are committed to building our company with people who are passionate about their career. At Klute, we are committed to providing our customers with quality products that meet their specifications. Our internship program is focused on providing the intern with the basic principles of various engineering systems. The intern will work with calculations and other engineering duties for a variety of substation and transmission line structures. Our goal is to provide the intern with a foundation to build upon to help advance their engineering knowledge. The intern will be working closely with our engineers on the design of customer projects throughout the United States. Responsibilities will include the following: Perform engineering calculations Perform computer aided drafting utilizing Advance Steel and Tekla Verification of permitting and code requirements Preparing construction documents for various engineer systems Track RFI's, review shop drawings, file, and organize information Pursuing BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering Proficiency in Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, Outlook Must be approaching their senior year in college or a recent graduate Must have a working knowledge in 3D modeling Strong communication skills, both oral and written Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
