Nominate a Changemaker for the York County Impact Awards
February 2, 2026
A community is only as strong as the people who invest their time, talent, and leadership into it—and York County is full of individuals who quietly make a lasting difference.
The York County Development Corporation and the York News-Times are proud to partner in launching the York County Impact Awards, an initiative designed to recognize individuals whose recent efforts have created meaningful economic impact across York County.
These awards celebrate those who have helped strengthen our community through contributions in areas such as retail, commercial development, industrial growth, workforce advancement, and housing. Whether through leadership, innovation, collaboration, or dedication, these individuals have played a role in shaping a stronger, more vibrant York County.
We invite the public to help us identify and honor these changemakers.
Nominations are now open for individuals who have made a positive economic impact in York County. This is an opportunity to recognize those whose work often happens behind the scenes—but whose influence is felt throughout our community.
Nominations will be accepted through February 20, 2026. Award recipients will be recognized at the YCDC Annual Banquet on March 19, 2026, alongside community leaders, partners, and stakeholders from across the county.
If you know someone whose efforts have helped move York County forward, we encourage you to take a moment to nominate them. Your nomination helps shine a light on the people who make our community stronger—today and for the future.
Together, let’s celebrate the individuals making an impact in York County.
