Each spring, with help from the local schools and several partners, York County Development Corporation facilitates the Regional Career Day. On April 2, 2025, the Career Day will return with area business professionals across 6 different industries in attendance to discuss what it is they do within their careers and what opportunities are available to the students in the region upon high school, tech school, or college graduation. The 6 industries that we will have represented are:             

  1. Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources
  2. Human Services & Education
  3. Communications & Information Systems
  4. Business, Marketing & Management
  5. Skilled & Technical Sciences
  6. Health Services

During the event, students will be introduced to exciting career opportunities - careers that often come with advancement opportunities, benefits, and college reimbursement programs. Also returning is the job fair. At this job fair, will be employers who can hire current high school students and offer advancement opportunities upon high school graduation.
