Current retail value of book inventory is $140,000. A "good faith" payment of $15,000 would be required to buy into partnership. We'll pay the bills and split the profit 50/50. Full ownership of the business is also negotiable.

Current owner would like to find someone who "has always wanted to own a used bookstore" and may include a coffeeshop if size allows. Current owner would be the supplier for books. The ideal partner would assume everyday activities and responsibilities of a book store, while the current owner would be stocking the shelves with more used books.
