Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute high-quality menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and enhance menus designed for member satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Create and promote seasonal features and specials that showcase culinary creativity and expertise.
  • Lead, train, and support kitchen staff while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Manage kitchen workflows to ensure efficiency and timely service during daily operations and special events.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Monitor and control food costs while minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.
  • Ensure all food preparation and kitchen operations comply with applicable food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the kitchen.
  • Work closely with club leadership to support member events, tournaments, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a culinary leadership, lead cook, or kitchen management role preferred.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food and memorable dining experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, food costing, and kitchen operations.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards; food safety certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • A creative mindset with enthusiasm for menu development and specialty offerings.
