YCDC Releases York County Food Access Survey Report
Doing a technical assistance grant with the Environmental Protection Agency and USDA was a challenge in 2020. The Local Foods, Local Places initiative pivoted several times before becoming a completely virtual program. One action step was to complete a Food Access Survey and identify opportunities and needs. YCDC reached out to York County Health Coalition to see if they wanted to partner. YCDC Intern Matias Castano worked with staff and had his professor at York College review both the survey and the report. Please take a look at this report, and contact Lisa Hurley at 402.326.1125 or lhurley@yorkdevco.com with any questions.
