Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assessing and evaluating patients' responses to health problems, identifying nursing care needs, planning and providing nursing interventions, evaluating patient response to nursing interventions and revising the plan of care accordingly in various acute care nursing settings within York General and other organizations.
Qualifications
The incumbent must have graduated from a professional nursing program and be licensed as a RN in the state of Nebraska. Certification in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS and NRP is required. At least 2 years of acute care experience is desirable. This position requires good communication skills, a caring attitude, flexibility, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and supervise others. The incumbent must be able to adapt to providing care in a variety of nursing care areas. Position requires knowledge of anesthetic agents and potential reactions.
