PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION This position will manage the entire life cycle of talent for the company by recruiting the best candidates and by maintaining effective programs for retention, promotion, and succession. This includes working with managers to determine organizational needs and implementing creative techniques to find qualified candidates. This person will be responsible for developing a positive culture inside and outside the company through events and marketing the company. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Recruiting Work with Human Resources and company managers to determine hiring needs and develop hiring plans. Reviews applications, makes initial contact with applicants, provides feedback regarding applications to management, schedules interviews for management and HR. Follows up with candidates. Completing paperwork for new hires Review job descriptions for accuracy and appeal Posting jobs on applicant tracking system Manage program for community focused workforce solutions by maintaining relationships with state agencies, grant applications, and additional programs. Review with HR pay structures by using market research and monitoring on an ongoing basis. Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives to ensure fairness in hiring practices. Marketing/Community Relations Recruit and network using social media platforms, Indeed, LinkedIn, networking events, job fairs and cold calling. Attend job fairs, local community events and network with potential candidates. Build relationships with area schools and communities to promote the company. Work with team on local marketing efforts to attract employees including television, billboard, radio and digital marketing. Leads sponsorship committee in selecting annual giving. Maintain company social media presence creating design (staying within graphic standards) and conveying company tone of voice. Maintain company digital signage. Work with committee to organize employee celebrations for birthdays, work anniversaries and special events. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communication, Marketing or Education Preferred Experience: Experience recruiting talent and networking, experience with applicant tracking system Experience traditional marketing, digital marketing & professional social media Other Qualifications and Requirements Self-Driven & organized Outgoing & positive attitude Ability to build strong relationships. Strong written, verbal, and social communication skills Located on-site at our location outside of York, NE PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standing and/or walking 30% Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
