Weekend Material Handler / Stager 

Help Keep Our Shop Moving - Even on the Weekends 

As a Weekend Material Handler / Stager at Klute, you'll play a key role in keeping our steel fabrication operations running smoothly. Your work behind the scenes ensures our welders and machine operators have the right materials, in the right place, at the right time. Working weekends, you'll help stage parts, move and organize steel, and support production flow in a fast-paced shop environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in staying organized, and understand that good preparation makes great production possible - this role is for you.

Hours for this role are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6 AM - 6:30 PM. 

After working 36 hours, we include 4 additional hours to guarantee 40 hours / week. 

Shift also includes a shift differential.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints 

Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop 

Stack and store steel plate safely and efficiently 

Chamfer, countersink, and clean holes using a drill press and hand tools 

Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material 

Communicate with welders, machine operators, and production leadership 

Support inventory organization and material priorities 

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Safety-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented team member 

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment 

Comfortable operating forklifts and shop equipment (or willing to learn) 

Ability to work efficiently around moving equipment and pedestrians
