York County, NE COVID-19 Business & Human Impact Assessment April 6, 2020

YCDC conducted an on-line survey of all York County businesses, of which 89 businesses responded. Out of these, 11 of the businesses were closed. Several respondees showed a decrease in sales (income), with an average operating level of 72% as of April 6, 2020. They also showed great concern for their workers during this time, including the employee's ability to be to pay bills, and the ability to retain employees long-term.
Looking forward concerns: 1) Decreasing consumer confidence/spending, 2) The financial impact on operations and/or liquidity and capital, and 3) Global or US recession.
