Responsibilities

Position Overview: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping our facility running smoothly. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, as well as handling physical plant maintenance-including buildings and grounds. Your work ensures our operations remain safe, efficient, and productive. 

Maintenance Technician Essential Functions: 

Review job orders to determine work priorities 

Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations 

Perform preventive maintenance in conjunction with operations 

Follow specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings while installing or repairing equipment 

Use hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments 

Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment 

Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints 

Install or repair automated machinery and equipment 

Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, to make and repair parts 

Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts 

Repair or replace defective parts 

Lubricate and clean parts 

Initiate purchase order for parts and machines 

Maintain building and grounds

Qualifications

Maintenance Technician Physical Requirements: 

Standing and/or walking 100% 

Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs 

Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls 

Ability to view computer monitor 

Occasional alpha/numeric keyboarding
