The York Chamber of Commerce is seeking to hire a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and purpose-driven individual to serve as our Executive Director in York Nebraska’s fastest growing community. This position is a full-time position with occasional evenings and weekends required.

The York Chamber of Commerce exists to create new possibilities for community growth. We strive to be a valued partner for our 300+ member organizations, helping them grow and develop their businesses and organizations by building connections, offering resources, and promoting the community of York

Responsibilities

The Executive Director will be responsible for managing current members and membership activities, programs, and events

Growing the membership of the organization

Maintaining financial accountability and budget oversight

Communicating to Board of Directors

Performing associated administrative duties

Qualifications

Ability to think creatively and drive innovation

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Experience in public or business administration, marketing, economics, or related fields.

Basic web maintenance, social media management, and writing experience is preferred.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 25 pounds are required.

Residency in York County is required
