YORK PUBLIC SCHOOLS is accepting applications for a Full-Time Custodian at York Elementary School. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment for students, staff, and visitors. 

Full-time, 12-month position

Work hours: School Day hours

Responsibilities

Maintaining cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas

Performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance tasks

Assisting with room setup and breakdown for events and activities

Ensuring a safe and orderly school environment

Working collaboratively with custodial staff and administration

Qualifications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to perform physical duties associated with custodial work

Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required
